At some point, you’ve probably seen some pretty ingenious, unconventional uses of socks as pop screens, bedsheets for bounce, and old black t-shirts as makeshift flags. But… there’s a good kind of floppy, and a bad kind of floppy.

Floppies are cutters – frames used to control and direct light, protect the camera from flares, or manage spill from other sources – which have an extra layer of material sewn to one edge, and held in place with Touch Fastener until needed, at which time the cutter becomes twice its original size. Newly designed 90° cutter frames make it possible to position the floppy over the top of the set wall, or to use two or more units to create a box for better light control.
